Dozens of Polish companies at India business forum

Polish companies took part in “India – Central Europe Business Forum” in Bangalore, India where the two countries' deputy Foreign Ministers attended on Monday.

Taking part in the business forum, deputy Polish Foreign Minister Leszek Soczewica highlighted that Poland is “regarded as an important partner in the region” and is central Europe’s largest trading partner with India.
India, which has one of the highest economic growth rates in the world, is one of the largest trading partners to Poland outside of Europe.
The forum, which was organised by India’s Foreign Affairs Ministry and Chambers of Commerce and Industry, invited thirty countries to participate and encourage partnership. Polish businesses which were present at the forum ranged from green technologies to the food processing industry.
The two-day event will end on Tuesday..
A bilateral agreement was signed between Poland and India abolishing the visa requirement for diplomats. (ua/rg/rk)
