Polish, Danish leaders discuss NATO, Russia

Poland and Denmark have similar views on potential threats to NATO countries, said Polish President Andrzej Duda after meeting Danish PM Lars Løkke Rasmussen on Thursday.

The two politicians stressed that the solidarity by NATO allies is required in conducting talks with Russia.
“We agreed that in order to lead a constructive dialogue with Russia, we need solidarity and unity in the Alliance,” Duda said.
Duda and Rasmussen also discussed the upcoming NATO summit in Warsaw in July, economic cooperation, energy issues, migration and an upcoming British referendum on whether the country should stay in the EU. (rg)
