Polish President Andrzej Duda met the Polish diaspora in Denmark on Friday during a visit to the country.

“Poland needs to work to build and defend its reputation abroad,” President Duda told a gathering of Polish expats at an art gallery in the Danish capital, Copenhagen.
Duda thanked the Polish diaspora for remembering their country.
During the event, the President awarded the Officer's Cross of the Order of Merit to architect Karol Marcinkowski for his “outstanding contribution in the development of Polish-Danish economic cooperation”. (rg)
