US President Donald Trump has criticised the majority of NATO allies who, unlike Poland, have failed to meet their military spending obligations.

Twenty-three of 28 countries are not paying what they should, Trump said ahead of a NATO summit in Brussels, referring to a commitment for all alliance members to earmark at least two percent of GDP for defence.
"This is not fair to the people and taxpayers of the United States, and many of these nations owe massive amounts of money from past years,” Trump added.
Poland, the UK, the US, Estonia and Greece are the only NATO members meeting their financial obligations on defence spending. (vb/pk)
