Szczerski said the president's agenda for the five-day visit starting on Saturday included the Polish-Australian Energy Forum, which Duda will open, in addition to "political talks with major politicians in both countries", the signing of "contracts and bilateral documents" on defence cooperation, and meetings with the countries' Polish communities.
Officials from the Polish defence ministry will accompany Duda to Australia, Szczerski said.
The Polish-Australian Energy Forum is expected to focus on cooperation in the field of modern technologies and innovations in the natural resources and energy sector. The event is to be attended by representatives of the biggest Polish and Australian companies in the sector, according to officials.
During his stay in Sydney, Duda will also attend the opening of a trade office of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH) and meet with start-up entrepreneurs and young businessmen operating in Australia. (vb/gs)
