The US-based search giant prepared a special doodle on its front page to mark the 10 May presidential elections in Poland.

“It’s time to vote! Today Polish voters will decide who will be their president for the next five years. In the early stages 11 candidates stepped up with the mandatory 100,000 supporting signatures, and have since campaigned hard to win voter confidence on some of the country’s big issues,” Google wrote on a special page explaining the design.

The Google logo, which is drawn in a mock-watercolour tone shows the six letters with make up “Google” voting. The “L” is seen in the process of putting its ballot in the red and white box, while the “E” has already cast its vote and is walking away! On the side, a sign reads “Wybory” (Elections).

The doodle can only be seen at the top of the Google.pl page.

This is not the first time Google, one of the world's biggest tech companies has prepared a doodle especially for the Polish market.

Some of the other Poland-exlusive doodles can be found here. (rg)
