In 2007, Kulczyk was made a member of the Pauline Confraternity, an informal association of the monastery’s benefactors and friends which was established in the middle of the 14th century.
Jan Kulczyk offered substantial funds for the conservation of the Chapel of Our Lady, monastery tower, refectory, the Old Library as well as for art exhibitions in the Pauline Museum.
He also provided funds for the Stations of the Cross in the Pauline Mission in Centocow, the Republic of South Africa. (mk/rg)
