Polish actor Tadeusz Pluciński dies at 92

Polish film and theatre actor Tadeusz Pluciński died on Tuesday at the age of 92.

Pluciński had appeared in more than 40 films and television series, many of which achieved cult status when Poland was under communism from the end of World War II to 1989.
He played supporting roles and cameos in films and series by directors such as Stanisław Bareja and the recently deceased Stanisław Jędryka.
These include Bareja’s Alternatywy 4 (4 Alternative Street) comedy television series as well as his 1972 comedy Poszukiwany, poszukiwana (Man – Woman Wanted) and Jędryka’s 1972 teen film Podróż za jeden uśmiech (A Trip for One Smile).
Pluciński also appeared in Czterdziestolatek (Being Forty), a television comedy series broadcast between 1974 and 1977, and played a supporting role in the 1967-1968 series More Than Life at Stake (Stawka wieksza niż życie) about the adventures of a Polish secret agent named Captain Hans Kloss.
