Organised by the Polish president's office and the Dziennik Gazeta Prawna business daily, the event is part of the president's Start-ups at the Palace programme.

Adam Kwiatkowski, an aide to President Andrzej Duda, said the conference wanted to tackle real struggles faced by start-ups.

He added that Duda supported new tech companies.

Duda has previously said that he wants to take advantage of the “great potential that lies within Polish entrepreneurs” and help them develop.

The programme gets young entrepreneurs to meet venture capitalists, state company bosses and other potential investors. (vb/pk)
