According to Poland’s Investment and Development Minister Jerzy Kwieciński, a country such as Romania should combine its existing investment institutions because a large, centralised organisation would have greater influence than smaller ones spread between various government ministries.
Polish Development Fund CEO Paweł Borys said there was no single model for running a state investment vehicle and that economic policy goals were key guides to setting up such an organisation.
While in Bucharest, Kwieciński was also expected to talk about the future European Union budget and meet Polish investors in Romania.
