Polish president to discuss security with Obama

Talks between the Polish and US presidents at this week's NATO summit will cover issues including security and last for 45 minutes, Marek Magierowski, a spokesman for Poland's head of state, has said.

"It will be a meeting of two small delegations, and it is scheduled for 45 minutes, but it may be extended," Magierowsk told private broadcaster TVN24.
The bilateral meeting between Polish President Andrzej Duda and US President Barack Obama is to take place on early Friday afternoon at the National Stadium, before the first session of the Warsaw NATO summit.
"They will certainly discuss those issue which will be a priority throughout the summit, which is the future of NATO and strengthening the eastern flank," Magierowski said when asked about the meeting’s agenda.
"But I also expect that the presidents will address the issue of Brexit, which is currently the most crucial one for all leaders, not only in Europe.
"There are also other bilateral talks planned, including meetings with British Prime Minister David Cameron, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, and the Presidents of Azerbaijan, Latvia, and Afghanistan," Magierowski added. (ał/pk)
