Commentators describe the game as the most spectacular in the tournament so far. In what was her 13th encounter with Cibulkova, the Pole put up an impressive performance but luck was not on her side.
She lost a match point in the last set. Last month at Eastbourne, Radwańska was defeated by Cibulkova, who went on to win the tournament.
In 2012 Radwańska made it to the Wimbledon finals but was beaten by Serena Williams. (mk/pk)
