Football: Warsaw's Legia out of Champions League

Legia Warsaw, Poland’s only team in European football association UEFA's Champions League, is out of the tournament despite defeating FC Astana 1:0 at home on Wednesday.

Legia earlier lost 1:3 away against the team from Kazakhstan, giving FC Astana more goals overall.

The Warsaw team, and 14 other losers from the third round of the Champions League, will play in the last round of the UEFA Europa League. (vb/pk)
