The Pole defeated Australia’s Daria Gavrilova in three sets, 5-7, 7-6(4), 6-0, in their second-round match at the Nature Valley International tournament on Tuesday.
Radwańska, a former world No. 2 who is now ranked 31st by the Women's Tennis Association (WTA), saved two match points to continue her comeback to the court after a two-month hiatus.
"I think in that stage after two months at home, I think every match it's great to win, especially against someone like Daria," Radwańska said after the match, as quoted by the WTA.
She was next up against Petra Kvitova of the Czech Republic for a place in the last eight of the Eastbourne tournament, which for many top tennis players is the final warm-up before Wimbledon.
