“We need to start a new era of training players in other fields of sport as well,” Morawiecki added.
The Legia Training Center will be Poland’s most modern football training and research facility, state news agency PAP reported.
The PLN 80 million (USD 21 million, EUR 18 million) centre has been set up by top-flight Polish football club Legia Warsaw. Construction is scheduled to be finished by June 2020.
The facility will be located in the town of Książenice.
