“We are investing in many endeavours connected with the innovation of Polish football,” Morawiecki said at a press conference in Warsaw.
The development of sport facilities, stadium safety and training are among key points of the plan.
“We want football to be the king of sport… we want [a Polish] club to play in the Champions League and be able to win against the best,” added Morawiecki.
On Monday, Morawiecki attended a cornerstone-laying ceremony for a new sports training centre near Warsaw.
The Legia Training Center, scheduled to be finished by June 2020, will be Poland’s most modern football training and research facility, PAP reported.
