Football: Poland thrash Tahiti in U-20 World Cup match

Poland beat Tahiti 5-0 in their second match of the FIFA Under-20 World Cup.

Jakub Bednarczyk scored the first goal for Poland in the 19th minute on home turf on Sunday.
Marcel Zylla and Dominik Steczyk added two more goals for the Polish team in the first half, and a second-half header from Steczyk put the Poles 4-0 ahead.
Adrian Benedyczak closed the scoring in the 74th minute, sealing his team's comfortable victory at the Widzew stadium in the central Polish city of Łódź.
Poland lost 0-2 to Colombia in their first match of the 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup, which kicked off last week.
On Wednesday, the Polish team will play against Senegal, who lead their group A at the tournament in Poland.
The FIFA U-20 World Cup is held by football’s world governing body every two years.
