Polish Radio speaks to former president of the European Central Bank Jean-Claude Trichet on the possible future expansion of the European Union to the east.
Trichet is now the Chairman of European Group of the Trilateral Commission, one of the most influential groups of politicians, businessmen and intellectual, who met in Krakow over the weekend.
The talks, traditionally held behind closed doors, focused on the future of the European Union.
Mr Trichet spoke to Jaroslaw Kociszewski, Polish Radio's senior foreign correspondent in Krakow, southern Poland.
