Ukraine in turmoil: what next? And the UK government's attempt to limit EU migrant rights.
Presented by Peer Gentle
UK prime minister David Cameron says he wants changes to EU immigration laws ahead of Romanians and Bulgarians being allowed to come and work in Britain at the beginning of 2014 – but is playing to an audience in Brussels or at home in the UK?
And Poland’s foreign minister Radek Sikorski, a staunch advocate of closer EU ties with Ukraine and other ex-Soviet states has been in Kiev this week, speaking to both Ukrainian and Russian officials on the issue and has called on Ukraine president Viktor Yanukovych to re-start talks on signing an associate agreement with Brussels.
To discuss these issues we have on the line we have Christopher Miller, a journalist at the English language weekly Kyiv Post and Daily Telegraph's Matthew Day and in the studio, Polish Radio senior foreign correspondant Jarek Kociszewski.
