Poland at the Expo Milan 2015
Over 140 countries are taking part in the Milan Expo 2015 which opened on Friday May 1st in the capital of the Lombardy region.

Poland is among the 54 states which present their offer in national pavilions , designed especially for the event. This year's Expo is held under the theme "Feeding the Planet energy for Life" and focuses not only on promotion of the food industry , agriculture and machinery but also on combatting world hunger and food wasting.
One of the main goals of the Polish presentation is showing the world the innumerable variety of foodstuffs Poland has to offer , says Slawomir Majman, head of the Polish Agency of Information an Foreign Investment, who is the commissioner of the Polish presentation in Milan
"We want to deliver a clear message to the international public, some 20 percent if the visitors in Milan are from Asia, that Poland is "food empire , a world food producing empire, one should add. People are well aware of the potency of the Italian, French or German food industry, the Polish one is still not that well known and we are here to show that we are a leaders in the production , of poultry, beef, apples , mushrooms berries- we want people to know"
