FOCUS :: 72 years of the Warsaw Rising

At 5 pm on August 1st Warsaw - and Poland - stop to the sound of sirens, remembering "W hour" - the hour when the Warsaw Rising began. This year sees the 72nd anniversary of the revolt of 1944 against the Nazis that ended in the annihilation of the Polish capital. As always celebrated with solemnity, the Warsaw Rising Museum's Karol Mazur describes of some of the events planned for this year.

Also, Smolik speaks of the special album of songs based on true histories from the Rising, which he recorded with Natalia Grosiak and Miuosh.
