Warsaw Forum :: Tusk re-elected to European Council
Former Polish prime minister Donald Tusk was chosen to head the European Council for a second term during a summit on Thursday, despite opposition from the Polish government.

The governing Law and Justice (PiS) party in Poland had put forward its own candidate to challenge Tusk, but 27 out of the 28 heads of government present at the Brussels summit supported Tusk.
Only Poland voted against him.
