Gen. Patton gets his boulevard in Warsaw
Warsaw councilors have decided that a section of a Vistula River boulevard would be named in tribute to US general George Smith Patton.

As Michał Owczarek reports, a naming ceremony including the unveiling of a memorial plaque dedicated to the general was held on Wednesday.
“I’m very happy that a boulevard in our city has been named after Patton. This is a meaningful tribute to a great World War II hero and a friend of Poland,” Deputy Mayor of Warsaw Renata Kaznowska said at the ceremony.
