Polish K2 expedition delayed
A Polish winter expedition to the world’s second-highest mountain, K2, has been postponed from its original scheduled start at the end of this year.

According to the Polish Mountaineering Association, it has not been possible to put together a team that would be adequately prepared to attack the peak of K2, at 8,611 metres.
