The turning on of Warsaw's Christmas lights was inaugurated by a special concert in Castle Square next to the Old Town on Saturday.
The illuminations were lit by Warsaw's mayor, Hanna Gronkiewicz-Waltz, and mark the start of a major retail season before the Christmas holidays. (pg)
