She will meet Polish Prime Minister Beata Szydło and the country’s president, Andrzej Duda.
Merkel will also hold talks with the head of the governing Law and Justice (PiS) party, Jarosław Kaczyński.
The talks on Tuesday will cover bilateral ties and security policy among other issues, said a spokeswoman for the German government.
This will be the fourth meeting between Szydło and Merkel outside EU summits. (rg/pk)
