Meanwhile, Jan Dziedziczak has left his post as deputy foreign minister with the rank of secretary of state, the PAP news agency reported, quoting the head of the foreign ministry’s press office, Artur Lompart.
Papierz, who will formally work as an undersecretary of state at the foreign ministry in Warsaw, was previously Poland’s consul-general in Istanbul, Turkey. From 2007 to 2010, he served as the country’s ambassador to Bulgaria.
After the latest reshuffle, the Polish foreign ministry employs one secretary of state and four undersecretaries of state, PAP reported.
Jacek Czaputowicz has been Poland’s foreign minister since early January.
