More drownings as Poles head to the beach

Twelve people drowned in Poland on Friday and Saturday as bathers sought to cool off amid scorching temperatures.

Fifteen people have drowned so far this month and 168 since the beginning of April.
Police and lifeguards have warned that alcohol and bravado could prove a fatal combination for holidaymakers relaxing on the beach.
The death toll for Friday and Saturday is the highest in Poland for a weekend this year.
